Dr Amanda Nikolic welcomes referrals from GPs, gastroenterologists and other specialists across Queensland for the full range of colorectal, general surgical and endoscopic conditions.
Dr Nikolic is a fellowship-trained colorectal and general surgeon who accepts referrals across the following areas. She holds public appointments at RBWH and STARS, and sees private patients through Brisbane Breast and Surgical Care at the Wesley Hospital and Fortitude Valley.
Dr Nikolic has completed two and a half years of advanced colorectal fellowship training through the ANZTBCRS, including dedicated cancer training at Fiona Stanley Hospital and Christchurch Hospital. Robotic surgery may offer benefits in complex pelvic dissections, including improved visualisation and precision in the narrow pelvis.
